Lasco marked 906 Day by donning the official uniform of the Yooper (that’s someone who lives in the UP of Michigan), the plaid shirt. It’s a great way to show the spirit of where we’re from and our pride in being Yoopers.

What is 906 Day? According to the 906 Day website, it’s a “celebration of America’s greatest area code.” The entire UP is covered by the 906 area code, and it has become a shorthand to identify the region. September 6, or 9-06, is the perfect day to celebrate that Yooper spirit.
